The scanner requires a live camera feed. Uploaded files and gallery screenshots are prohibited to prevent duplicate and synthesized receipt fraud. Live camera capture ensures physical proof-of-purchase.
Scanner session links remain active for 30 minutes from creation. If expired, tap "New link" in the app on your computer to refresh.
If the camera does not initiate on mobile, verify that browser camera permissions are granted and no other application is holding the camera lock.
Position the receipt flat under clean lighting without direct glare over the merchant header or total. Frame the entire slip from top to bottom. Retake the photo directly rather than cropping or editing, as image manipulation triggers fraud filters.
No. Each physical receipt is cryptographically fingerprinted by merchant, timestamp, and line item signature. A duplicate attempt immediately triggers an Already claimed refusal.

Payouts respect two limits: your tier's per-receipt cap ($10 for Paper up to $200 for Founder) and your wallet's remaining 24-hour daily limit. The lesser of the two determines the payout ceiling.

The protocol enforces a 90-day purchase window based on the printed transaction date. Older slips cannot be approved.
If someone else photographed your receipt or you accidentally submitted it previously, the fingerprint check will flag it. If you believe this is an error, contact support with a full-frame photo of your paper receipt.
Wallets exhibiting automated abuse patterns or repeated invalid submissions are placed under manual review. Contact us with your address to appeal.
